Telehealth Video Appointments Now Available
Northwest Ohio Center for Pelvic Rehabilitation & Wellness now offers Telehealth face to face video appointment services, for patients who cannot or do not want to leave home.
Telemedicine visits will be determined on a case by case basis since some insurers are no longer covering telemedicine visits.
Using Telehealth
Telehealth is simple and easy to use! It can be accessed on your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
To request a Telehealth visit, contact the Pelvic Floor Therapy Department via email: pftstaff@nwourogyn.com
- The Physical Therapist will contact you to schedule a time for the visit.
- A link will be sent to you that you can open from your phone or computer.
- Click on the link and the appointment will begin!
Telehealth Fees
Payment will be collected prior to the visit:
- $35 for 20 min session
- $50 for 30 min session
- $100 for 60 min session (evaluation intake)
Telehealth and Insurance Coverage
Every insurance company is modifying their Telehealth coverage and each patient will need to check with their insurance company. In light of the recent cornoavirus pandemic, many insurance companies are expanding their Telehealth coverage. If their insurance company covers this service, the patient can request reimbursement. Some insurances may not allow Telehealth services and we will continue to monitor these insurances.
